Two surprises
When a plant seems to die, what do you do with it?
If it's a bulb, you let it rest, either in a pot in a dark place or in the ground.
We had a calla lily and an orchid that bloomed last April (2016). When they withered and seemed dead, we buried the lily and left the orchid in its pot.
Then yesterday, both bloomed. What a beautiful surprise!
