January 6 is known two ways:
---formally, as Epiphany, a feast day in the Christian Church to commemorate the traditional arrival date of the Three Kings (also called the magi) at the birthplace of Jesus.
---informally, as a day of celebration that's made its way into many cultures.
In New York City, a parade complete with puppets winds its way through Harlem on Jan. 6:
