WHAT IS IT?
Good writers have to be able to paint pictures with words (that's called imagery).
Look at the photo above.
1. Describe how it looks: size, color, shape, what it's made of, and so on.
2. Imagine how it's used.
3. Speculate as to where it might be found.
4. Make
up a one-page story about the object, using the imagery you have constricted in
steps 1, 2, and 3.
