The photo was taken from the train that travels every day from Oslo, the capital, to Bergen, an historic port on the West Coast. It's a memorable trip, full of surprising views from your window.
The train ride takes 7+ hours and travels out of the modern city of Oslo through farmland, the Hardangervidda plateau, the nearly-inaccessible, cold village of Finse, and a series of small towns before you reach Bergen.
