Weekend fun
Dear Amelia,
I work four days a week, Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, I am off work, so we can do something fun and interesting. Here are a few of our choices this weekend:
1. At Mead Gardens in Winter Park, about 30 minutes from where we live, we can buy plants,
GROWvember, Mead Botanical Garden’s fabulous annual fall plant sale is the place to be on Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., just in time for you to prepare your fall garden and beautiful your home for the holidays.
3. We can ride the Sunrail, a new commuter train, to Winter Park, the Science Center, or downtown Orlando.

Saturday, Nov. 5th GROWVEMBER FALL PLANT SALE
No admission; parking is free. The sale will be held rain or shine. Food trucks will have delicious food and beverages for shoppers to enjoy. The Garden is located at 1300 S. Denning Drive, Winter Park.
2. We can visit Kimchi Korean restaurant in Orlando. The food is very good, and they will gladly substitute tofu for chicken in any of their dishes.
